About Us
I am a proud mother to two wonderful children and owner of 2 Teacup Yorkshire dogs. My inspiration came from the desire to create something that could be loved and utilized by all pet owners. While walking my dogs, I often found it challenging to manage both of them and my cell phone, especially when cleaning up after them. In today’s world, nobody leaves the house without their cell phone, and I wanted a leash that would allow me to walk my dogs, hold my phone, and clean up without needing to juggle multiple things at once.
I discovered that most hands-free leashes on the market were designed to be worn around the waist, which I found unsafe and impractical as it can lead to loss of balance if a dog pulls. Crossbody leashes, however, offer better balance and stability since the weight is distributed evenly across the body.
The crossbody leashes available online were not meeting my needs in terms of functionality and versatility. I shared my concerns with my daughters, and together, we embarked on creating a prototype. Visualizing what I wanted in my mind, I sketched it out, and we began experimenting with materials, sewing, and assembly. The final product we created is not only functional and strong but also convenient, unisex, adjustable, and purpose-driven. It has become the only leash I will ever use.
Our crossbody leash features a built-in bag dispenser pocket for easy cleanup and another pocket for defense spray, which provides added security during walks, especially at night. This feature is particularly useful against potential threats like larger dogs or other dangers in the environment. For owners of larger dogs, the extra pocket can hold a flashlight, knife, or additional bags, offering unmatched convenience.
Additionally, the leash includes a large O-ring for clipping multiple dogs at once, depending on your comfort and ability to handle them. I also use the O-ring for my keys, keeping everything I need in one place. The leash is adjustable to comfortably fit both men and women, and the attachable leashes have clips on both ends, allowing you to adjust the length according to your preference while walking or running.
Black was chosen as the color for its practicality and ease of care, making it versatile and easy to match with any outfit. I affectionately refer to it as “The Better Leash” in my advertisements because of its exceptional functionality, purpose, and convenience all in one.
