I want to share a tidbit as a dog owner. Do you ever feel jealous when your pet seems to love someone more than you? I try my best to win my dog Vader’s love, but he is so attached to my daughter, nothing I do changes that. He is a teacup male yorkshire, loves to play and gets very hyper. He has a deep attachment to my daughter, and will follow her and guard her at all cost. He is so tiny but actually has the personality of Darth Vader from Star Wars. I named him well, lol. I only have the advantage of providing the best treats, that is when he shows love to me. But when he is done with his treat, he runs back to my daughter. My thoughts are, “how dare you”? He loves me, but never the same as he does my daughter. When my daughter leaves the house, he acts like he was left destitute. He will stand by the front door and howl and cry. It is so cute, sad, and so unnecessary, as I am still home with him. I feel left out and unappreciated, lol. I stare at him and mention hey “Im still here”, he does not care, lol. It is a very unfair, but I have accepted that I am number two in his life. Please feel free to share some of your tidbits of life with your fur babies.
